Pedro Salomé invited for the editorial board of SOLMAT

The leader of the INL Nanofabrication for Optoelectronic Applications Research Group, Pedro Salomé, is one of the most recent members of the editorial board of SOLMAT – Solar Energy Materials & Solar Cells, from the Elsevier editorial group.

Solar Energy Materials & Solar Cells is intended as a vehicle for the dissemination of research results on materials science and technology related to photovoltaic, photothermal and photoelectrochemical solar energy conversion. Materials science is taken in the broadest possible sense and encompasses physics, chemistry, optics, materials fabrication and analysis for all types of materials.

This is one of the most regarded scientific journals in the field of photovoltaics, and for that reason, Pedro Salomé considers this invitation to be “a great honour” adding that “my first publication in SOLMAT was in 2010 and since then 12 other papers joined that one. Those 13 papers have generated close to 500 citations and together with the high editorial standards they demonstrate the huge audience that the journal has”.
